DOONOOCH DANCERS
This is my unofficial web site for the Doonooch Dance Company
The Doonooch dancers are a dynamic result of the self-healing program set up by Robert McLeod in 1998. The Doonooch Dancers are now the most prolific troupe in NSW.

"The basis of healing and learning is through the spirit of belonging and self respect. As an Aborigine, this means participation in the birthing and restoration of our entire cultural heritage through the origin lore of the Mother."

The Doonooch Dancers have performed in many countries on many occasions. There performance is electrifying, almost energising any person who watches their live ceremony. They take culture very seriously and they perform on a professional level. Doonooch have performed for very small groups of 10 to 20 people. In 2000 Doonooch were part of the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony and were feature performers at the World Indigenous Forum in Noumea. This gives an idea of their capabilities.
