The Capture of fire This is a dreamtime story of when fire was first captured by Goodah, he took the fire on a burning piece of the tree that had been hit by lightening. He decided to keep the fire for himself so he went in to the hills and hid in a cave All the other people in the tribe also wanted use the fire and so they had to find Goodah, punish him and share the fire out between everyone, so they could have heat, light and a way to cook their food. I thought this story was the perfect story to paint on a Country Energy Sub Station, as they also provide us with heat, light and a way to cook. |
